Consultant of the Quarter: Ron Cesar

Over the past 10 years, Ron Cesar has been engaged at more than seven companies across the U.S., quickly establishing himself as a valuable asset to each team he joins. His hard work and continual desire to identify additional project opportunities make Cesar a dream consultant, and the newest Kforce Consultant of the Quarter.
Currently the interim Senior Sales Analyst for Genoptix, a national medical hematology and oncology lab, Cesar was offered a position as a direct hire for a major automation project within a month. However, preferring to seek new challenges through consulting with Kforce, Cesar elected to continue as a consultant through the end of the year.
During this time, Cesar has automated certain mission-critical tasks for the sales controller, assisted other managers, including the CFO, with additional projects and trained the sales controller’s analysts in advanced Excel features and budgeting methodology. Through meeting with different managers within the company, he also plans to assess the needs of different divisions and identify projects which he can assist with.
“Ron is always looking for ways to add value to both Kforce and the clients he is working for,” said Laura Munkholm, Cesar’s account manager with Kforce. “At Genoptix, he created a budget model that the company used recently in lieu of its longtime model. His models and newly designed procedures will be saving the company quite a bit of money and have been deemed by the CFO as absolutely necessary for the success of the company.”
For Cesar’s Genoptix supervisor, Ron’s ability to manipulate a tremendous amount of data and summarize it in an easy-to-read format is what makes him so valuable.
She adds, “I have only had one other person in this position, and Ron’s programming capabilities are far superior. Further, his work ethic is commendable. He’ll do what it takes to get the job done!”
At the heart of this work ethic is Cesar’s acknowledgment that his purpose is to help the client solve business problems amiably. His advice to other consultants, a familiar adage: “Find something you love to do, and you’ll never have to work again.”
For Cesar, his time spent with Kforce has been a positive one and can be attributed to the people.
“I’ve maintained my long relationship with Kforce—having worked in its Washington, D.C., northern Virginia, Baltimore and San Diego markets—because I’ve found Kforce people to be nearly uniformly professional and pleasant,” said Cesar. “They take as much account of my skills and interests as they do their clients’ requirements. And they attract great clients.”
