It is nice to be financially rewarded for the effort you put into a career.  I worked as an engineer for 12 years and was never rewarded for stellar performance or money-generating/saving ideas.  Treating this job as my own company, under the premise that my family’s income is 100% dependent on my effort, has rewarded me more in 4 months than in a whole year as an engineer.  This job is about solving problems:  companies have a problem in that they want to find and hire the best people.  Candidates have goals that they want to achieve.  The person that solves these problems the best will reap the most rewards.

Next month will be my one year anniversary with Kforce and I don’t know where time goes! Kforce has been very good to me.  I came in at an entry-level position with no staffing experience and I was able to earn a spot on the Performers' Incentive Program trip during my first year as a commissioned employee.  It is nice to know that Kforce gives equal opportunities to new and seasoned employees to be recognized for their contributions.  The rest of this team has been great about training me from the ground up and they've put me in a great position to win Rookie of the Year in 2007.
