Kforce Associates and Vendors Team Up to Feed Children Everywhere

Chronic hunger affected an estimated 925 million people across the world in 2010 – a number nearly three times the United States population. Kforce Inc. recognized this need and partnered with Feeding Children Everywhere to give back to communities near and far.
Through Kforce’s Stewardship & Community efforts, Kforce associates and vendors participated in a food packing event on November 8, 2011 to provide 251,000 meals to children in Africa. During the event, hundreds of volunteers gathered at Kforce’s Tampa Headquarters to package rice, lentils, a vitamin blend and dehydrated vegetables to ship overseas.
In addition to providing meals for children in Africa and raising $93,000, Kforce also held a separate drive to benefit local food banks,raising more than $6,000.
